So I never really update this ^^; Anyway, right now I'm working on getting ready for momocon, Sukoshicon Birmingham, and MTAC and then they'll be a bunch of other cons, but I'm not as certain about them.

Momocon Cosplay Plans:

After momocon, I'll be in hardcore get ready for sukoshicon Birmingham mode! (Check it out if you haven't heard about it: http://sukoshicon.com/bham/location.html)  I help run everything at Sukoshicon from cosplay, to some panels, and just generally making sure nothing blows up so it's always my favorite con since I'm so involved with it.  I'm especially excited for this Birmingham since we'll have a lot of new panels, maid cafe, Pokemon event, Blitzball, and a BOUNCY CASTLE!!!!  Seriously, what cons have a bouncy castle?  So it's going to be awesome and I'm pumped for it!

Other than that, I've got a bunch of cons planned and cosplays, but it's all pretty up in the air depending on what my friends want to do.

Finally have some free time now that it's winter break!  So glad this semester is over even though it was a great first semester as president of UAB's anime club.  Events were huge and we had so many more people pay dues plus lots of new members so I'm really proud of that for the last semester.
I haven't really had time to make any new costumes or have any photoshoots since AWA though so there's not much new to update here though I still have a lot of older stuff that I'll try to get on here one day.  I'm hoping to have a couple new costumes for this upcoming Sukoshicon Destin or at least update a few outfits like my rarely seen Maid Yoko for the maid cafe that I'll be in charge of.

I've been waiting on these since June so I'm pretty pumped to finally see them!  Although, this just reminds me, I've got a lot of work to do to fix up Kyoko for AWA.  Off to the sewing room!

I keep meaning to give this site some TLC, but I've just kept neglecting it.  Well, I'm at least going to get some convention reports up today!  Hopefully some new costume galleries too.  I've been so busy with finals, end of the year UAB anime club party & elections (I'll be the president in the fall so going to be even busier!), MTAC, Sukoshicon: Montgomery, moving to Huntsville for the summer, and whatever else I've been doing that I forget about!

Sorry, I've been so crazy busy with school, work, anime club, & con stuff that I've had no time for my poor little website.  I will put those con reports up sometime though. After this weekend I'll have to write Kamicon, Sukoshicon: Auburn, Momocon, the cherry blossom festival, UAB's anime overnighter, Persacon's Project Cosplay, & Sukoshicon: Anniston!  So much!!!  I'll also have pictures to post along with most of those events so look forward to it.   Hopefully, I'll be able to get it all up before MTAC, but I'm not sure since finals are fast approaching.  I'll actually have time to work on cosplay & this site after MTAC though since I'll only have 1 class over the summer.

I've been crazy busy with helping my boyfriend move, school (mid-terms T_T), anime club, and mostly conventions the past two weekends so this site has been pretty neglected though honestly when was it not neglected!
I should at least be getting Kamicon and Sukoshicon Auburn convention reports up soon before I forget everything.  Sadly, I didn't get many pictures and didn't have any new outfits, but they were still both fantastic cons with great people!
Also, I'm getting ready for Momocon in less than 2 weeks!  It's my boyfriend's birthday con so I'm trying to think of something fun for him.  Expect Azula and maybe him as my Dai Li on Sunday, but I have no clue what to wear on Saturday yet.

PixelCon is a free gaming convention in Tuscaloosa, Alabama that was held on January 29th, 2011.  Even though I'm not much of a gamer, I decided to go this year since a lot of my friends were going and sukoshicon had a fan table there.  Overall, it was great for a free, small one day con!  Read more about it in my blog. 
Right now I'm also getting ready for kamicon this weekend.  Sadly, I don't think I'll have time to make  any new cosplays for myself with school and helping my boyfriend move, but I'm hoping to make a Dai Li cosplay for him to match my Azula cosplay.  We'll see if it happens!

So Sukoshicon came to Birmingham on Saturday for the second time.  I've spent the past few weeks promoting and working on stuff for this con like crazy so I'm really glad it all paid off.  I'll also have photos for 3 new costumes from this con.  Panty (default red dress), Panty (school girl), and Ariel (kiss the girl dress).  I was a changing like crazy this con!  Read my new blog for the convention report!

So on January 22nd, 2010, Sukoshicon will be returning to Birmingham.  I absolutely love helping out at this con so I'm really excited!  I'll be running 2 panels, judging the cosplay contest, in charge of hospitality, working the Otaku Bar, and helping anywhere I'm needed so I'll be crazy busy.

So my first panel is going to be "Cosplay Modeling and Photography." Get tips for modeling and photography from myself and the official convention photographer, emeraldcoastmodels.com. Then, we'll take volunteers to test out what they learned in front of the camera! The pictures taken during the panel will be posted on the con's facebook after the con too so you'll have something to show off.

My second panel will be "Iron Cosplay." Love Iron Chef? Come play it cosplay style! Teams will compete by creating an original outfit for their original character using the given materials and the secret ingredient. No cosplay experience needed! Sign up in teams at the registration booth.

I'm hoping these get a good turn out and everyone has a great time.
