Personal Thoughts: Madoka Magica is my favorite series in a very long time so of course I had to cosplay from it! I absolutly love both Kyoko & Sayaka because I just love really broken characters and both of their designs are adorbale. Kyoko is just a bit easier so I decided to cosplay her first.
Construction: I still haven't had a chance to make the skirt, boots, corset, or her spear so all I've really made so far is the jacket. I spent about 10 hours on the jacket between altering the pattern I had, finishing all the edges (even though I lined it too), making that evil lining work out ok, and the trim which I added by hand.
